BURST 2019 Terms & Conditions For Participants

By registering for BURST 2019, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Entrants aged 0 to 13 must be accompanied at the event by a parent or guardian.

All participants take part at their own risk and registrants must be physically capable of completing the full distance, start line to finish line.

By registering and participating, you accept all risks which could result in loss of life or permanent injury. Accordingly, you release all persons, organizations or corporations associated directly or indirectly with the event from all claims, demands and proceedings arising out of your participation. You hereby indemnify Seniors & Kids Intergenerational Programs, our sponsors, vendors and any other providers against all liability (including liability for their negligence and the negligence of others) for all injury, loss or damage arising out of or connected with your participation in this event.This release and indemnity continues forever and binds your heirs, executors, personal representative and assigns.

You agree that safety precautions undertaken by Seniors & Kids Intergenerational Programs are a service to you and other BURST 2019 participants but are not a guarantee of safety.

Seniors & Kids Intergenerational Programs is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.

You agree to abide by all race rules and directions issued by the event organizers. Participants must follow instructions as given by all event officials including volunteers, medical personnel, security officers and city officials throughout the duration of the event.

Baby joggers, baby strollers and wheelchairs are permitted on the course where the course route safely allows, but in the interest of safety should start from the back of the group.

For the safety of our BURST 2019 participants and animal friends, we do not allow animals at this event or on the colour fun run route with the exception of Service Dogs.

Any participant or observer who is offensive by action or language to officials, volunteers, participants or spectators may be asked to leave the event.

If the event is cancelled due to weather, ‘acts of God’ or other conditions, you understand that the entry fee is non-refundable.

You consent to allow Seniors & Kids Intergenerational Programs to use your name, image and likeness before, during or after the event for the purpose of promoting Seniors & Kids Intergenerational Programs and our programs. That includes online promotion on our website or social media channels, print promotion or as part of a television news broadcast or newspaper article.

Your registration assumes that you understand, agree to and accept our terms and conditions.
